Reorganisation the whole of the \"Personnel Administration\" Department.
Engagement, training and assimilation and settling in of new colleagues
Drawing up and putting various internal procedures as well as a \"Personnel Guide\" into application, followed by its installation on our Intranet thus facilitating its consultation.
Organisation of the company Staff Representative Elections and the installation of the 1st \"Conseil d’Entreprise\" (Worker Council) of the Group.
Implementation of a new computer application, processing salaries information and data.
Negotiation and resolution of various disputes between the representatives of the personnel and the management.

Responsibilities.
The monitoring and application of both Company/Social and Employment Law within the various companies (each of the companies forming the group functions independently).
The monitoring and supervision of salary policy, both with respect to staff taken on and during the course of the annual assessments.
Mentoring the management in the \"Compensation & Benefits\" policy.
Setting up the policies and procedures having considered benefits not covered by the legislation (company car, group-insurance, holiday entitlements over and above those legally required, etc.).
Supervision of the drawing up of contracts as well as the negotiations within the framework of the end of the employment contract.
Arbitration and mediation where conflicts exist between the hierarchical supervisors and the personnel and/or the representatives of the trade union organisations.

Réalisations. / Achievements
Taking on about a hundred new colleagues : executives, salaried staff and sales people. This task also included the drawing up of the job-function descriptions, the selection of the channels of selection, screening the C.V.s, the interviews and drawing up the reports at the close of the selection exercise.
The incorporation and harmonisation, in conjunction with the Volvo Human Resources Management (Gent), of the personnel policies at the former Volvo importer (SBMA).

Responsibilities.
Management and administration of the personnel : executives, salaried staff and blue-collar staff.
Monitoring the Company legislation via monitoring its application within the various companies in the Group.
Supervision of the \"Group Insurance\" package
Updating the IT Salaries Management package.
Assimilation of and settling in the personnel and the executives of the new companies within the VOLVO Group.

Active participation in the analysis and the implementation of an internal IT package intended for the total management of salaries and wages (calculating salaries and wages and emoluments, ONSS statements, \"déclarations 325\" and \"fiches 281\").
Co-ordination of the procedure for the mass redundancy and the closure of the business, in conjunction with a legal firm, on the take-over of SBMA by Volvo.

Monthly payroll for 250 employees and sales personnel, as well as 350 blue-collar staff.
Drawing up the ONSS (Social Security) statements and the fiscal documents.

A transition from \"educational\" theory to application in the field : putting into practice all aspects of personnel administration, completely independently, within an enterprise with 300 blue-collar employees, associated with different Joint Commissions (steel construction and transport).

Carrying out, twice monthly, the blue-collar staff payroll exercise, completely independently.
Drawing up the various administrative social documents (work-place accidents, sickness, early-retirement, etc.).
Drawing up contracts.
Keeping the employee and working site registers up to date.

5 years of evening-class courses in cabinet-making and carpentry in order to gain access to the carpenter's trade
