Promoted in 2002 to head-up the development and implementation of a “new” dedicated recruitment team [and strategy], to combat a declining placement-per-order ratio. Within twelve months almost a 100% increase was realised [and maintained] by addressing areas such as dedicated recruitment support, the setting of KPI’s, personnel training, database management and quality control monitoring.

Responsibilities:
• Training and development of dedicated recruitment consultants;
• Design and implementation of Recruitment Plan and departmental working instructions, policies and procedures;
• Spend control and negotiation of annual departmental budget;
• Identification of new “sources” of potential candidates to suit current customer demands;
• Business development opportunities and presentations to new / existing customers through pre-qualification and full tender production;
• Hands-on recruitment for all company owner / operator account[s];

Promoted in 2001 to develop new, and existing Owner / Operator customer portfolios within the international Upstream Oil & Gas market. Able to meet [and exceed] agreed business plan targets relating to the successful placement and management of highly disciplined Project Managers and Engineers [achieved 189% of personal business plan 2001].

Responsibilities:
• Drawing up of personal Annual Business Plan based on known [and potential] customer / market demands;
• Negotiating, developing and managing of new and existing customer manpower supply agreements in the form of both umbrella and individual call-off contracts;
• Initiate appropriate search-and-selection processes using available tools, i.e. in-house and on-line databases, advertising mediums and networking;
• Effective negotiating and management of field staff employment contracts to ensure maximum profitable returns;

Recruitment Consultant

Employed in 2000 to assist existing company Account Managers, with activities in both the domestic and international Upstream Oil & Gas market.

Responsibilities:
• Search-and-selection of potential field staff candidates to suit customer demands;
• Control advertisement campaigns and recruitment drives;
