A Generalist position supporting the European Sales and Marketing organisation (260 people in 10 different countries) with international focus, very key to the business with a direct reporting line to headquarters in the US.

My major responsibilities were recruitment, compensation & benefits, employment laws, coaching and training of managers, employment relations, training and development, performance management, organisational management.
All responsibilities are applicable for all countries (Sweden, Finland, Russia, Netherlands, Belgium, UK, France, Switzerland, Germany and Italy).
Elaborate and ensure continuous relationship with the US to ensure that US expectations were matched with EU requirements.

Special projects:
· Building up HR team for new manufacturing side in Dresden (1999)
· Complete review of all benefits applicable in EU countries and search for consistency (1999, ongoing)
· Potential acquisitions in France (2000)
· Mentoring 2 HR division Managers based in the US (2001, ongoing)
· Introduction of global Stock purchase and Profit sharing plan (2001)

Mr Brand, my former employer of Hotel RivesRolle, gave me the opportunity to work in this psychiatric hospital. I was responsible for about 140 employees (medical, administrative and hotel services). It was a generalist role covering all HR issues and required a close teamwork with the medical management and the US corporate team. As from Mai 1995, the American owners of the clinic added to my HR position the complete responsibility for all hotel services and sales. I was part of the Directors' team.

My main responsibilities were: HR policies (very specific due to medical environment), recruitment (mainly on universities of professional schools), caching and training of managers, budget planning (for all departments), coordination of all HR administration and payroll, review maintenance plans of property, coordination of admission with respect to medical pathology, insurance coverage and emergency.

Special projects:

· Support opening of 2 new clinics in London
· Opening of unit for eating disorders affections
· Re-organisation of paramedical department and activities
· Introduction and coordination of the position of medical sales representative
· Introduction of IT systems for payroll and administration
· Re-organisation of admission office with respect to insurance coverage, pathology and appropriate treatment on a NHS basis (instead of only private and semi-private), and opening accordingly a new unit for depression affections
