Q-GROUP : a young and dynamic holding firmly embedded in the food industry. As a Belgian identity, the company is a kingpin in various countries of the EC. Thanks to many years of effort in the area of quality, food safety and traceability, Q-group is now situated at the top of the meat-packing industry. First as consultant, later as a board member and actually as Executive Chairman of the Board of Governors, I’m responsible for strategic development, marketing and leading the company into an international growth path.

ADVOCONSULT: managing the business for a firmly specified law firm. Strategy development, implementation through balanced score card .

WIT-GELE KRUIS OOST-VLAANDEREN : market leader in nursing at home. Company with 1.450 employees and 30 divisions. Five years as Strategic & Marketing Director, member of the board of directors. Key responsibilities: strategy (development & implementation), marketing and PR, internal communication, business development. Introduced a company wide balanced scorecard, supported by divisional score cards. Main results: stopping the annual decrease in turnover and leading the company into an annual increase-rate of 3,5% in terms of turnover and clients an launching different new services for clients.


Strategic Marketing Management projects

ORBID : developing marketing managerment for ORBID, a consultancy company in Ghent. I was responsible for launching a new business unit specialised in providing other companies in an external marketing manager.

MOERMAN : Defining a global marketing strategy and brand strategy. Moerman was created in 1885 and is since many years the world's leading manufacturer of double bladed moss rubber floor squeegees. The Moerman and Vero floor squeegees are considered to be the world wide reference when it comes to wiping. Moerman exports to more than 70 countries worldwide. Besides its famous floor squeegees, Moerman produces a full range of wall and window cleaning material, handles and sponges. The branch office MTM Industries which is located in the USA, is in charge of the sales in North and South America.

ALFA-M & AURORA (ATTENTIA): merger communication for both companies. Different internal and external communication projects focused on implementing the merger.

KBC, RENAULT, SUZUKI, CERA, DAIKIN EUROPE, DELPHI INSURANCES : Implement the marketing strategy into communication instruments focusing on publishing tools like sponsored media.




Strategic PR and communication assignments

ARTESIA BANKING CORPORATION : Fifth Belgian bank & insurance company with commercial trademarks as BACOB Bank, Artesia Bank en DVV Insurances with different specialised national and international branches. Worked for four years as Press & Corporate Communication Manager. Responsible for all external non-retail communication and internal communication for the company: organising press conferences, coordinate en monitor press coverage, spokesman, internal communication (internal magazine), annual reports, corporate brochures, corporate movies, ... Since 2000 responsible for crisis communication in the Lernout & Hauspie file for the bank. Due to the merger with Dexia Bank, responsible for press relations and the internal communication within the retail network of BACOB Bank and Dexia Bank.

MIET SMET : Spokesman for the Belgian Minister (Tewerkstelling & Arbeid en Gelijke Kansenbeleid), press contacts, organizing both Belgian and European press conferences, preparing & giving interviews, communication planning, lobbying, …

WIT-GELE KRUIS WEST-VLAANDEREN : Implement a marketing and communication strategy. Jobcoach for a young communication manager.

TABOR : Not for profit holding organization with 40 members (hospitals, elderly homes and schools). Developing a new business model and strategic orientation.

HAGEWINDE : School for young disables persons. Developing an internal communication plan and instruments.

STOKOTA : Stokota offers tanks semitrailers, trailers and superstructures in aluminium of stainless steel for the transport of both non-ADR and ADR products. Stokota is a world-wide industrial company in well-chosen market segments where a sustainable profitable growth can be obtained. For those market segments, Stokota brings under its own brand end products to the market and delivers service to its customers. Realisation of a marketing strategy focussed on segmentation and communication planning.

SYNTRA BRUSSELS : realizing press releases for various activities of the training institute.

SBB : developing the communication plan and framework for implementing the marketing strategy.
