2005 – 2006 : Global Top 5 EMS Player -Interim business development
For a Global Electronic Manufacturing Services company active in the development, production and reverse (repair) service in the electronics industry (Telecom, IT and consumer) with more then US$ 7.5 Billion revenue. I was hired to develop new business for 2 areas (Ireland & UK), developing new concepts for these local markets and a change in the approach of these offerings. Hired finally a local business development person.


2004 – 2005 : IT IBM Business Partner - Interim business development
For a European IBM business partner in the mini, midi and mainframe area which just merged with a German IBM business partner I developed a strategy to move from hardware selling to solution selling. The main focus areas where to find solutions around the IBM pSeries and iSeries. Therefore I developed relationships with solution venders (mainly software driven) and a market strategy to bring this to the existing customer base and performed new business activities.


2002 – 2004 : Zanon BV. Co-Founder
Zanon was a vendor of mass market electronic consumer and automotive products, being actually an OEM vendor in this low margin area forced us to stop this operation in 2004. Our production facilitators (China) where not able to adept to the necessary market changes, and produce products with a stable quality level. Building up the brand internationally, 1st year sales US$ 3.8Mio, to finally in the 3rd year more then US$ 6.4 Mio revenue in a highly competitive area.,
• Responsible for marketing and sales (build up from scratch in a total new market)
• Developing new concepts, like Mobile DVD
• Build to whole chain from idea, product, services to marketing concept


1998 – 2002 : Mindport Europe BV. Sales Director EMEA
Mindport is a vendor of Pay Media software solutions (SMS, DRM, CC&B), in 2002 the company decided to move all sales to the USA, due to a stop in the development of a new platform fro the EMEA market.

1997 – 1998 : TELESENS B.V. International Sales Director
Telesens is a vendor of ICT billing solutions, I was asked to join the IPO team to bring the company to the stock market in Germany which was done highly successful, duo to this I was asked to join Mindport.

Teles is a vendor of ISDN products (cards, phones, dialers and switches)

• Set up the transfer of the International Sales department to Ireland
