o People management of all Project Managers within the practice. The number of project managers has grown with 8 to a total of 27 in 2008.
o Programme Management implementation of an Escher product (USA, Ireland) and development of bespoke work. Closed the project based on a business case.

08/2007 – 09/2007 MaEsRiJo Holding BV

Started with two assignments after leaving ISDC.
o Coaching of middle management within IFS. One of the managers I am coaching is the Consulting Manager with a development unit in Sri Lanka.
o Development of a Request for Information and a Request for Proposal. The customer has the intention to replace his own developed application suite with a standardized solution.
o Business Planning related to the establishment of a development centre in Romania.

05/2004 – 08/2007 ISDC

As COO responsible for the software development organisation of ISDC in The Netherlands (Hilversum) and Romania (Cluj). P&L responsible for the total organisation with a revenue of Euro 7 Million in 2006 and a result before tax of Euro 700.000.
o Increased capacity development unit Cluj from 20 to 120 development employees.
o Introduced new development lines on Microsoft .Net and Dynamics AX
o Restructuring delivery organization and delivery model in The Netherlands
o Implemented sourcing contracts towards a number of clients like Swets and Zeitlinger, Binck Bank and Getronics Healthcare. This included the way of working related to combined development teams (Netherlands – Romania)
o Implemented changes in infrastructure to optimize cooperation within the development teams.
o Final approval on all result oriented bids, participation in steering committees as supplier and regular checks on all projects.
o Direct reports in The Netherlands 7 and in Romania 5.

o Delivery manager and program manager responsible for the Business Units Finance and Control (includes Shared Service Center), HR and European Mail Network and the main Order to Cash system.
o Management of all ICT components related to the Financial Service Center (Euro, migrations, releases and operations).
o Total annual value estimated 18 Million euro.

August 2000 - April 2001: Manager Projects TPG Post
o Responsible for all IT-projects within the Business Unit Mail with a value in 2000 of Euro 16 Million. The work load consist of about 100 projects from simple to complex and covered Software Development / Maintenance as infrastructural changes.
o Member of steering committee and ICT-Project Manager related to the establishment of a Financial Shared Service Center.

o Managing department (application management, development and support and operations) with users in Rotterdam, South Africa, France, Eastern Europe and South America.

July 1998 - December 1998: VP Europe and BD
o Restructuring European organization. Close country organizations in a number of countries. Separate reseller and consulting/country activities based on P&L. Focus on selling consultancy contracts in the UK and The Netherlands.
o Alliance Management towards Baan Company and partners.
o Managed a change from a loss making organization to a break-even result in the UK and The Netherlands in December 1998.
o Improve sales process that has led to a higher value of order intake and longer contracts.

1997 - 1998 PA Consulting Group

o IT-audit within the Dutch operating company of Partek Cargotec a producer of de-mountable for trucks. Problems in the organization, knowledge management, procedures and IT-infrastructure occurred while moving from two separated total solution suppliers to a supply chain solution. Senior management accepted audit and proposed action plan. As follow up
o Program Management implementing advise
o Results: throughput time decreased and quality of delivery increased.
o Project audits on different Baan implementation projects in France and Norway.

1984 - 1997 Origin and BSO
1992- 1997 Manager Service Line Baan
o Managed an outsourcing opportunity to a contract. This outsourcing concerned the Dutch customization department of Baan software en was part of Baan Netherlands. With this outsourcing 70 employees from Baan transferred to Origin, included all customization (software development) and maintenance contracts. Basic value of the contract was Euro 11 Million in three years.
o Developed this organization to revenue of Euro 90 Million in 1997 with a profit of Euro 11 Million. The Service Line was present in 22 countries and employed about 800 Baan Consultants.
o Responsible for Account and Program Management towards main global customers like Nortel, Phillips and Carrier Europe.
o Alliance Management towards Baan and Partners. (Gold Global Partner Award in 1996)
o Agree on investment and finance plan and cash flow targets with the country CFO’s
o Financial reporting and forecast Service Line to the Board
o Realized growth 80 - 100 % on annual basis.

1990 - 1992; CIO and special assignments
o Project Management on the restructuring (right and down sizing) of two joint ventures.
o Project Management of development and implementation of new Business Unit administrative system
o Changing the EDP department into a lean and flexible support unit. Analyzed the application portfolio and projects in progress and the qualities of the staff. Improvement actions defined and implemented.
o Project Management of selection and roll-out of an E-mail system within BSO

o Start-up and management of the Business Unit Groningen.

Assignment within NAM (Dutch operating company Shell) as assistant from the Financial Information Planner. Responsible for the user support and deployment of a budget- and cost control system and several feasibility studies.

o PTT Post: Operated within the control department as the information planner related to the bank activities.
o Within Kluwer operated as business analyst to improve the data processing and management information. In a later stage responsible for administration, cost price calculation and order valuation.
o Within Infosytems operated as Cobol and Basic programmer, implementation of administrative systems from Nixdorf and design and deployment of administrative procedures within a computer centre of Kluwer
