United Fish Auctions NV, (juridical merger of the fish auctions of Stellendam, Schevingen and Colijnsplaat), Stellendam

Responsible for:
• The privatisation, merger, modernisation and growth of the municipal auctions (65 employees).
• The refinancing of the new company by hard negotiations with major banks and shareholders.
• Negotiation with the municipality of The Hague and real estate companies to fit in the Scheveningen auction within the restructuring of the seafront of the port of Scheveningen.
• The design, construction and sale of 20 buildings (€ 6 million) for the fishing industry in Stellendam.
• The design and planification of a major fish distribution centre at Stellendam

Royal Schelde Group N.V., division boilers and waste incinerators at Flushing and Breda

Responsible for:
• The turnaround of the sales division to establish 80% of the contracting to be from outside The Netherlands.
• The negotiation and signing of a joint-venture agreement with Samsung Engi-neering for the design and building of 12 waste incinerator plants in South Ko-rea.(total worth € 120 million over 5-6 years).
• Managing a sales force of 12 sales managers in Flushing and Breda.

• The general management of a company with 350 employees and a yearly turn-over of € 40 million.
• The reorganisation of the company and the negotiation of a social plan for 150 employees with the unions.
• Refinancing of the company with the central and local government and with 8 major banks.
