Work Experience

She started her career in the function of Head Commercial Department of an international petrochemical concern in Antwerp in 1989. This role provided her with an in-depth understanding of the functioning and processes of distribution, logistics, accountancy, purchasing and quality assurance.

In 1994 she has been promoted to Marketing and Customer Care Services Manager. One of her responsibilities was the implementation of the new software package BPCS. Her project activities included mapping the business requirements, business processes and end-users needs with the new supporting system, identifying areas for improvement, liasing with IT, testing, managing the conversion from the existing data to the new information system and development of a training program.

In 1997 she joined Cimad Consultants organisation (part of IBM Global Services from 1998) where she was involved in the implementation of SAP projects with a primarily focus on implementation methodology and project management.

In 1999, she started as an independent consultant specialising in project management, business consulting and overall project support assignments with a clear focus on efficiency, practical applied methodology and organisational and practical change management as they are the key factors for a successful project implementation.

In her capacity of independent consultant, she worked for Volvo and Electrabel. Since 2000 she works for Telepolis in Antwerp to perform Project Management, Business analysis and Change Management in their PeopleSoft HR project for the City of Antwerp (8000 employees).

Always keen to achieve a successful project implementation, she is convinced that there’s a suitable solution for every problem. Her strong analytical intellectual capacity, her people management, communication and team building skills and her management skills are key factors contributing to the quality of her project management performance. Structured working methods and tools, based on an efficiently applied methodology enable her to deliver beyond the management of a project. It also delivers results, which are of high standards in quality, efficiency and adequacy to the customer’s business environment and requirements.
