Personal profile

I am an experienced (HR) professional, capable of translating issues from a board perspective into efficient, pragmatic and effective solutions, thereby successfully meeting business needs. I have significant experience operating in the business, consultancy, projects and management roles in (international) corporate environments, commercial and non-profit.
I am highly analytical, result oriented, self-starting. I work structured and plan/fact based, creating teams that are successful. I have an independent mind and capable to devise creative solutions in apparently lost positions. Seasoned negotiator in relation to trade unions, works council, third parties.
My best performance is reached within a complex environment where results need to be delivered under high pressure. Familiar with discussions on board level.

Responsible for HR-domain in an international context, implementing CGI HR strategy in NL. Three C&B projects (e.g. harmonization of Logica package towards CGI), and a specific BPO (commercial & HR) assignment. Reporting to North & Eastern VP HR for HR domain and to CEO regarding BPO assignment. Negotiated massive change in labour condititions on a cost neutral base, but with a large uplift in productivity (+7%). Implemented talent/performance management, employee satisfaction survey. Introduced a innovative mobility policy. Restarted the recruitment engine. I was able to get Strategic Resource Management as a topic on agenda of the management team.

Corporate role. Overall responsible for all C&B domains, related to 20.000 heads, 2 CLAs and Social Plans, in two different environments (ICT and Telco), also several terms & conditions plans for Xs4All, Telfort, KPN Contact Center, Call2 etc. (management-)Incentive plans, pension schemes. Achievements:
- Several Collective Labor Agreements and Social Plans with trade unions, including principal agreement for KPN Group (integrated Collective Labor Agreement, Pension scheme , Social Plan)
- Several outsourcing and offshoring deals (from C&B and Industrial/Employee relations perspective)
- Conversion of 2000 fte from KPN Corporate market towards KPN Telco
- Creating new integrated (Telco and ICT) C&B team and governance model (incl. CLA negotiation team)
- Harmonization of labor conditions in several occasions
