I worked on both B2B and B2C projects. Ranging from the creative development of a large sales presentation to triple-A program campaigns for SBS6.

CREATIVE MANAGER - Discovery Networks (2011-2013) (dienstverband)
At Discovery Networks I managed the award winning Creative Services Team. I built the team from the ground up and developed their on-air strategies. The team consists of promo producers, designers, web developers and coordinators.

My team produced creative elements for marketing and branded content purposes on Discovery Channel, TLC and ID. I oversaw and protected creative quality, brand guidelines and production workflow. I kept in close contact with international teams and shared learnings, expertise and new campaign materials. I've led numerous channel rebrands and new channel launch projects.

I developed creative concepts for new cross media campaigns for both marketing and sponsoring purposes. I wrote creative briefs and advised programming and sales teams with new ideas. I also organized brainstorm sessions for colleagues and large clients. I always focused on targets/goals and optimized strategies when necessary. I held a strict budget.

Some brands I have worked with: Shell, Mazda, Glenfiddich, Grolsch, Sony Playstation, Electronic Arts, Activision, Continental, Samsung and more.

ON-AIR PROMOTIONS MANAGER - Discovery Networks (2008-2011) dienstverband
My first main task at Discovery was to assemble a creative team in Holland and develop a local on-air marketing strategy for Discovery Channel. I hired promo producers, production coordinators, motions designers and a media planner. I set up a voice over casting and selected Discovery's first channel voice (Daniel Smulders). Present day he is still Discovery's channel voice.

Together with our media planner I constructed an effective on-air communication strategy and presented it to senior management. This communication strategy was slightly updated by us throughout the year. It is currently still in place. I also worked closely with the new brand partnerships team to set up first brand partnerships campaigns.
