Basic Technical Paper B.V. (BTP) is an internationally operating company. BTP is a manufacturer and wholesaler specialized in types of paper that are used as transfer sheets in copier/printer equipment.
From our office in Utrecht in the Netherlands we deliver to more than 450 customers in the Netherlands and also deliver the high-quality paper to locations in more than 15 countries in Europe and Africa.

Tasks and responsibility
* Responsible for business growth in the Netherlands and growth of the international resellers
* Primary responsible for building the brand and expanding distribution

01-2006 till 02-2006: Country Manager Zambia
Africa First Holland Logistics BV in Congo Lubumbashi was a young enterprise involved in an operation transporting a large amount of minerals and steel scrap from several scrap yards in Democratic Republic of Congo to Zambia. The goods would be transshipped from Zambia to the ports of Durban (South Africa), Beira (Mozambique) and Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania) on a daily basis.

Tasks and responsibility
* To set up from Congo the office in Ndola / Zambia
* Jointly responsible for the smooth running of the transport chain operation in Africa
* Overall leadership and direction to the team in Zambia
* Drive the business growth
* Ensure service quality and manage the local partner relationship

* Manage the sales administration and logistics & warehousing (10 persons plus 25 temporary workers)

* Co-responsible for extreme business growth. 1989 turnover for Fila 0,5 million Euro and in 1998 a turnover from 40 million Euro!
