Work Experience

My strength is my knowledge of data structures and processing in a business context. This enables me to work with business stakeholders to refine requirements and then to partner with IT to deliver a solution. My experience in different departments means that I can understand different points of view but it also enables me to develop synergies e.g. by reducing redundancy. I have led local and international projects and teams.

Project 1: A review of the order processing & Stock Control process at Canberra. Deliverable: A specification for implementation of a new system.

2009 – 2012:
HRIT Leader at Cargill. Development of a regional HRIT Strategy and implementation of that strategy. Rebuilding of HRIS to payroll (and other) interfaces and securing of all HR data transmissions. Data review, followed by cleaning, completion, process review and building of a Web based work flow tool to support transparent & efficient data maintenance. New set of reports developed.

2001 – 2009:
HR Business Information manager – Head of HR Process Office
Lead development & implementation of Global HRIS (fully integrated with Finance and IT) in SAP with Employee reporting in BW and managed this system for 5 years. Owned Employee reporting and developed up to forecasting and planning at level of Employee and payroll costs. Worked with CFO and country management to validate achievement of budgets. Automated Merit, Bonus, target setting & performance management, job evaluation system (HAY), Global Mobility mgt., and a number of other local HR processes. Implemented reporting Hierarchy, cost centre structure and other organization structures in HRIS.

1999 – 2001:
Manager Global Financial processing & output (Group management reporting)
Streamlined the Cognos reporting platform. 4 day lead time down to 15 minutes with more extensive reporting. Aligned processes and structures. Developed interface from SAP to clearing system. Developed new budgeting tool. Supported special projects.
