•Completed the project of establishment and prepared the start of Cenral European Solution Centre, the delivery unit working for EDS projects across EMEA with targeted staffing 300 HC.
Financial Services Sector Sales Manager
•Direct sales to financial sector customers, mainly banks
Successes:
•Developed the plans of Central European Solution Centre, the budget and financial plans, internal marketing, market analysis, found the locality, the competence structure (skill profiles), outlined the quality system, and the organizational framework

1996 – 05/1998: Èeská pošta, s.p. (Czech Post)
Manager of "Výpoèetní technika Praha" (IT service organization for region Praha)
•Managed the team of 300+ employees, servicing 120 locations of region with 5.000 employees within the company of 44.000 employees;
•120 LAN, WAN, infrastructure from desk-top to server environment and end-user support
•Complete IT operation including infrastructure, applications and data processing.
Successes:
•I managed the internal unit, delivering the IT operation and IT support. I worked with the internal software-house.
•Implemented new proprietary software, which enabled to provide smooth money transfer services. The volume of daily transfers in my responsibility was 8-10 M €.
•When I joined Czech Post, the unit had 50 people delivering the IT support and IT operations. After consolidation and stabilization I have been asked to add (acquire) another unit of about 550 people. We consolidated the two units together, having finally about 360 people. We consolidated the services, set new organizational and procedural framework and stabilized the operations.
•I was evaluated the best IT-service unit manager

1991 - 1996: Vìtrovský - ELSOFT
Owner and manager of a company supplying IT technologies and providing services to small and medium-sized enterprises.
•Team of 6 people and about 25 part-time co-operators.
•Company provided hardware, software (incl. programming), training, support to IT operation and maintenance and the foreign trade.
Successes:
•I delivered the IT services to small to small and medium sized companies. The services consisted of IT support services as well as the support to respective applications, in general to the accounting systems, and office applications
•We developed two specific applications, having small development team. My role was the analyst and project manager (and sales).
•My company delivered IT training services to medium and large companies and governmental organizations.
•I organized and managed the delivery of programming training.

1974 - 1990: VÚPEK (Research institute for economics and energy)
•Macro-economic research, including development of mathematic models.
•Leading the research team.
Successes:
•In result of my research, I had several original discoveries on the field of the resourcing to the national economy
