• Responsible for the sales division of the Adcubum Group, developing market entry strategies and local implementation to foster growth strongly focusing on Germany and Eastern Europe.

Key Accomplishments:
• Developed a sales strategy for introducing Adcubum SYRIUS to the german Private Health Insurance Market and assumed partnerships with large and internationally well-known IT implementation partners.
• Successfully introduced Adcubum to the German Insurance Market in setting up a dedicated Executive Event in the context of the sponsorship for one of the leading annual Insurance Event “IT for insurance” (Handelsblatt Jahrestagung).

• Responsible for the global application strategy for Allianz Group as well as the execution of subsequent large and cross-company application projects in close alignment with the Allianz global business initiatives such as Target Operating Model, Sustainability and Customer Focus.
• Responsible for international IT Purchasing generating significant savings for Allianz Group by negotiating global contracts in bundling the Group’s purchasing power.
• Chair of the Global IT Purchasing Committee (25 Participants from 13 subsidiaries) responsible for new international cross company purchasing projects and guidelines impacting local purchasing organizations and their negotiations.

Key Accomplishments:
• Leader of the “Target Application Architecture (TAA) program” which was the Group’s key initiative to derive the application strategy and IT standards. Managed six parallel work streams with a team of local CIOs and Application Architects out of 20 subsidiaries. Delivered a framework to achieve transparency (>2500 applications) and initiated projects for standardization in core and non-core business areas. Investments of >350 m Euro addressed.
• Global purchasing spend addressed in 2006: ~550 m Euro. Savings p.a. achieved: ~130 m Euro

Key Accomplishments:
• Key role as responsible project manager tackling IT sourcing aspects in a global board initiative delivering a Group wide strategy for outsourcing and offshoring in BPO, Shared Services and IT (volume IT: > 1bn Euro).
• Delivered a framework for evaluating strategic sourcing opportunities in new development and maintenance, incorporating potential assessment and a country/vendor analysis.
