May 2011-Current

Own business providing an interim management service across the Logistics and Construction industry.

Assignments have included:-

*An Outsourcing Project for an Electrical manufacturer reviewing their global logistics – The current offer was assessed over a 3 month period and a new program of processes, systems and savings was proposed to the Board of Directors. These proposals have been approved and their implementation started with a saving of £750k over phase1.

* A Relocation Project for a South East based manufacturer looking for new premises – full assessment on the operations including and business requirements for the next ten years was compiled over 2 months. This included dilapidations on existing building, TUPE and redundancy of staff implications. A business plan was proposed to the Venture Capitalists for moving to new premises. This project has been approved and will be implemented in Autumn 2012.

*A Stock Control program for redundant stock. Project involved assessing the opportunity and finding a solution for the dispositioning of £2m worth of stock and implentation. A cost effective solution was presented and is currently being implemented in 2011.

2009-current MFS Henley on Thames

MFS specializes in the project management of relocations, refurbishments and change management. The clients have ranged from Private clinics to an IT Peripheral company with £100 million turn over. Projects have been multi sites throughout UK and Europe. The projects have included:-

Client: Drake Beam Morin PLC. Managed a multiple site operation (18 sites) for refurbishing and relocating premises over a two year period. Total project £800k. This involved change, asset and Property Portfolio Management for the clients.

Client: Confidential Contract. No1 Mobile phone service provider. Completed a refurbishment project for the factory worth £1m , involving 500 staff and 12 departments over a 6 month contract. This was a complex project as the site was occupied during the entire life cycle of the project. Involved managing programs and budgets within the constraints of the business, writing and maintaining method statements, advising on Risk management & Health and Safety best practice on sites.

Client: Premier Research. PM multiple office relocation from 4 sites to one. The project was completed in 10 days and came in on budget at £75k. This involved the relocations of client records that are regulated under the Clinical research Data protection.

Client: Premier Research Co. PM a £750k refurbishment for a Pharma Clinical Research company completed within a 12 week time frame. Prepared tender documents and scopes of works. Managed the audits of furniture, process flow and personnel The project hit budget and was delivered on time whilst overcoming constraints such as payment schedule and leasing negotiations. Managed project teams of 60 people across 4 sites in IT, Mechanical & Electrical, construction and Telecoms. Writing and maintaining method statements. Designed and implemented the installation of FM200 fire suppression rooms to store all clinical research data.

Client: Freedom Group Plc. Contracted to manage their churn management, and provide a strategy for the replacement of furniture. Managed the furniture installations across 15 UK sites. Total value of the contract £150k over a two year period.

2002-2009 Mitime Henley on Thames
Mitime is a refurbishment company offering a Refurbishment and design service to the commercial environment including Project Management, Consultancy, and Design. Managing Multi-site refurbishment projects of values £50K to £1M

Client: Immigration advisory services. Consultation ,design and implementation of the Manchester office over 2 weeks. Total value £50k.

Client: Business Link. Consulted on the design, space and change management. Implementation of the final specification, delivered on time and on budget. Ensuring costs, time, quality and service level targets are maintained. A 4 week project at a value £65k.

Client: Faith dean Plc. Consulted on archive management and installed a storage solution worth £35k over a 2 week program.

Client: Kier Plc. Consulted on design and managed implementation of Ei2 suspended glass walls with a value of £25k.

Client: Princeton Financial Systems Global. Consulted on the design, layout and project management of the refurbishment of three floors over a 6 week period to the value of £50k.

Client: TCS Plc. Consultancy of design and build of a bespoke inverted concept. The concept was one of the most diverse that was worked on from slate roofing, to total white board rooms. The project was over 3months and valued £75k.

Client: De Large Landen. Project management of multi site facilities installation over 12 weeks to the value of £80k.

Client: NHBC. Sole furniture consultant contract managing churn to the value of £50k over a 12 month contract.

Client: Hydro-lek Ltd. One of the Worlds leading specialist in the ROV and deep sea robotics engaged us to review their current premises and design, implement and relocated the office and the manufacturing plant.

Client: Royal London Asset management, design and build project. The consultation was to take one large office and convert this into 4 more useable suites. This involved the change of power supplies, drainage, walls, building regulations. The project ran for 12 weeks and totaled £60k.

Client; Pack n send. Retail. Commissioned to write the standard design manual for all store installations, source the installation companies to become the preferred supplies of store fitting. Design the stores and manage the implementation of the new stores. Advising clients on CDM regulations, and planning. Health and Safety management of sites and working environments.

2001-2002 Eagle Global Logistics Heathrow

An International Freight and Logistics Company involved in Multi Modal worldwide Transportation, Warehousing, Distribution and Supply Chain Management. A $1.7 Billion turnover American corporation employing over 7000 personnel globally.

EUMA Regional Account Manager
Recruited to drive the account management program and develop a global strategy for Pitney Bowes. Responsible for a £30m annual turnover and with a target of £33m within two years.

Responsibilities involve:-
* Managing Project teams for bids, and installation of Warehouse Systems
* Project Managed reverse auction tenders to the value of $28 million.
* Third Party Carrier management
* Targeted to reduce costs and increase profitability whilst ensuring service level targets are maintained.

Achievements:
* Increased turnover by 6% in the first year reaching £31.8m by utilizing existing services.

European Account Manager/Controller

Responsible for ADC telecommunications, Unisys, Rail Track, Siemens, Fujitsu accounts. Position carried P&L responsibility together with the implementation of projects and sales initiatives. Revenue responsibility of £ 10m with an objective to increase it to £12m within two years.

Achievements:
* Project managed the European installation of Magnetic body scanners in to Hospitals to the value of £850K per installation.
* Project Managed a £650k IT installation of telecoms racks throughout Europe
* Increased the Turnover on the ADC account by £500k
* Project managed an installation contract worth £150k with Panasonic.
* Instigated and managed a Pan-European agreement, £160k, between North American and Circle Freight
