 Led creation of global multi-channel e-business strategy and consolidated Public Web Site, Global Intranet, European Customer Portals teams, and technical semiconductor datasheet production group. Budget of c. € 10m, c.60 staff in US, UK, Netherlands, India and Taiwan. Additional outsourcing in Russia and Netherlands.
 Introduced a strategy formulation process, creating the Global e-business mission and purpose.
 Led workshops that generated strategic programmes for supply chain elements of business creation, business fulfillment, customer care, support services and enablers. Successfully sold to market segments and business units through global road show.
 Took tough decisions and downsized by 20 employees during the worst downturn in the semiconductor market history.
 Cancelled multi-million Euro technical documentation application development due to business case not supportable in existing economic climate.

 Reporting to the UK Chairman & Managing Director, responsible for management of UK infrastructure services, shared IT services, site IT services, standards and exploitation of IT to realise business benefit.
Infrastructure Strategy & Programme
 Established Group function and new UK IT governance model, for outsourced infrastructure and shared services.
 Worked with and gained trust of site IT Managers in formulating and realising infrastructure and shared service strategy and programme.
 Turned around failing supplier relationships.
 Restructured services, contracts and SLAs, creating flexible outsourced services and reduced costs by 10-20% of unit price. ICT no-longer a major issue for the 30+ business units.
 Undertook 3rd party supplier selection and contract negotiation for telecommunications services, hardware, software, office machinery procurement; resulting in reducing unit costs by 20% more than market rates.
 Migrated disparate networks to single managed network.
 Developed consistant IT environment with SLA based services.
