Upgrade of computers to DHCP and changing frame types ( 4000 Users ) – South Africa
Context: Computing Analyst

Tasks performed and Achievements

•Conversion of all computers in the building to DHCP from static IP addresses. I wrote some software which could be used in a Novell login Script in order to edit the registry directly, automatically reboot the client and then set a flag so the script would not execute upon successful completion of the changes. The Frame type settings were also done in this manner. This way all machines were changed automatically without the use of human intervention, saving the company money.
