South African qualified solicitor (EU passport holder) with 22 years post admission experience in civil litigation trials on behalf of financial institutions, corporate entities and private persons; mediator and arbiter in labour disputes, negotiator in strike actions and unfair labour practices; specialised in corporate law, real estate, law of incorporeal things and (international) contract law.

4 years European experience as free lance legal counsel with completed projects on 1) Negotiating and preparing exclusive import contracts; 2) Preparing trademarks applications; 3) Member international team of jurists preparing a paper on comparative compliance legislation; 4) Member of a multi disciplinary team preparing a draft covenant on company human rights issues; 5) Negotiating and drafting contracts for the purchase of real estate in Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Latvia and Ukraine; 6) formation of companies in aforesaid countries and off-shore; 7) Drafting and negotiating joint ventures, agency, building, lease and finance agreements in aforesaid countries; 7) leading, and liasing with, outside legal counsel in the different jurisdictions; 8) overseeing due diligence procedures.

Very experience negotiator and drafter of English language contracts in sophisticated commercial transactions, in particular real estate transactions in Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Latvia and Ukraine.
