I’m active as freelance consultant and would like to find new challenges by companies who are looking for my experience.
Based on the actual economical situation, but also the needs of number of organization in difficulties and in change, I can be a real added value for short and long term for them. Therefore my choice for interim management missions.



01/2001 – 12/2003 Minolta Belgium (Zaventem)
Managing Director / Administrator

On proposal of the Japanese Management of the Minolta Group, I accepted to become Managing Director of Minolta Belgium.
A function I occupy for more than 30 months now and as my title indicates, gives me the responsibility of the Belgian subsidiary that realises a turnover of 50 Mio Euros and has a headcount of 400 employees.

01/99 - 12/2000 NRG Benelux (Nashuatec) (Brussels and ‘s Hertogenbosh)
Benelux Manager Digital Solution Business

Products : Everything with an added commerical value for the products distributed by the NRG group.

Responsibily : To organise and structure the « solution » business. In other words, to create a portfolio of solutions and generate other types of revenue than the traditional ones of the company.

Financial Responsibilty : +/- 7.5 Mio Euros / year

Headcount : In 2 years more than 100 employees joined my division (Benelux)

Description of the department :
Management of a company in the company focussed on the products of the future
Establishment and control of the division budget
To assure the transition between the traditional business and the new business
Seeking new products (HW/ SW)
Development and testing of selected products
Commercial launch of the new « services »
Organisation and follow-up of a new activity (Consultancy)
Management of huge commercial projects
Development of a network of IT partners
Management of the internal and external communication
Implementation of an IT system allowing the management of this new business
Management of a multi-disciplinary team
Training of all teams regarding :
· Project Management
· Commercial Approach
· New Technologies

I was based for 25% in Brussels and 75% in ‘s Hertogenbosh (the Netherlands) and was in charge of a team of 100 employees (Benelux). We managed to realise a turnover of 2.5 Mio Euros in 1999 and reached at the end of 2000 our objective of 7.5 Mio Euros.

On top of my reponsibilites at NRG, I was an active member of the ESSC ( European Services Solution Committee ) of the Ricoh Europe Group. This committee was mainly composed by japanese members, occupied with the start-up of « Solutions » for the Ricoh Group in Europe and in the US. My presence in this committee was justified by the constructive work realized in my job at NRG.


01/98 - 12/98 Danka International ( London and Amsterdam)
International Service Manager New Business

Products: MFP’s Color & BW Canon/Kodak/Ricoh/Toshiba/ HP

My responsibility is the integration and the launching of the new products proposed by the different manufacturers in all operations worldwide.
I was part of the Danka European Management Group with whom I worked with from London and Amsterdam. It goes without saying that as from then I spent an important part of my time with travelling and working with the local management of the different countries where Danka was represented.


07/97 - 01/98 Danka Corporate (Tampa - USA)
Project Manager Global Support (Uniting Danka)

For 7 months I was based in Florida as leader of the worldwide project for the organisation of the merger. The project finished in December ’98 (analysis) as the new structure for Danka was known for the different organisations in the entire world. Remained to organise the installation of this structure, so Danka Corporate offerered me the function of Service Manager for Danka International.


08/96 - 07/97 Danka Belgium (Brussels)
General Service Manager Belgium

Products: Copiers, Scanners, Faxes, Printers (Infotec/Toshiba/Kodak / HP).
Financial Responsibility : +/- 15 Mio Euros / Service year
Headcount : 150 employees

Given the excellent results of my organisation and my keen interest for the international function I was offered,
I accepted the proposal to go to the US for an indetermined period, to coordinate the merger of the different companies who joined the worlwide Danka Corporate Group.


09/93 - 07/96 Infotec Benelux (Brussels and Amsterdam)
Service Manager Benelux

Products : Copiers and Faxes Infotec and Mita (Holland), Duplicators « Riso »

Financial Responsibility : +/- 6.5 Mio Euros / service year
Headcount : 120 employees (Benelux)


In this company my « international » experience started, given the fact that I was responsible for the Benelux, where 2/3 of the personnel was based in the Netherlands where I passed 2-3 days a week. Here I was responsible for the Service Division of the Benelux.

In 1996 the company Danka (USA) bought the Group Infotec. At the same time, the Danka Group took over the company Réprotechnique (Toshiba Benelux) and the entire division of Kodak (copiers and printers). After a long negotiation with the general management of the Danka Group in Europe, I accepted their proposal to occupy the funtion of General Service Manager for Belgium.



02/90 - 08/93 HCS Belgium (Brussels)
Service Manager

Products: Copiers and faxes « Infotec », Printers Epson (Manudax), PC’s/Servers, Plotters, Scanners and Screens.

The company was a holding gathering different companies such as BCS, Manudax and Philips Software. During 3 years I was responsible for the service department of the Belgium based company employing 50 people (internal + field).
Due to a difficult financial situation on European level, the company HCS sold its different divisions, where I chose for the company Infotec Europe who distributed the Ricoh products all over Europe.



10/89 - 01/90 BCS (Dealer Ricoh) (Brussels)
Technical Support Manager

Products : Copiers – Printers & Faxes
Tasks : Responsible for the technical department (20 employees)
Start-up of the department

My motivation for this choice was due to the fact that the company BCS signed an agreement with the international group HCS, who was going to develop the activities and the business in Europe. I had thus an interesting prospect in this operation.
