Other

In my previous role in Purchasing I dealt with suppliers and wiring harness parts for “niche” type automobiles like Jaguar, Audi, and Porsche. Other OEM´s involved are BMW, VW (Passat) and Ford (RS) models. Although not having a managerial position, I was looked on by my peers and managers as a project leader and brought process and hard savings in 2009 for both programme and commodity purchasing amounting to 4 million Euros.

During my various professional roles, I have been guided by two sets of directives. First: Question everything one does and to find out; what is really “value added” and what is “not value added but necessary. Second: To have a skill set which is second to none in finding the best in class solution to customer requirements.
